Wrapping Transforms Gloucester City Recycling Vehicles

Back to Success Stories

Gloucester City Council, the latest shareholder in environmental services company Ubico, has transformed its kerbside recycling fleet with a vinyl wrapping makeover by Creative Vehicle Wrapping (CVW).

The project involved rejuvenating 14 six-year-old Romaquip Kerb-Sort recycling vehicles by removing the old, faded wraps and applying a fresh new design. The vehicles also received new decals for the cabs, along with chevrons and updated messaging installed at the rear.

Ian Bourton, Head of Fleet Operations at Ubico, expressed his satisfaction:

The vehicles are in good condition from an operational point of view, but they were looking very tired and also carried branding from the previous contractor. CVW have done a great job in bringing them back to life. The quality of vinyl and the clarity of the images and graphics is first class, and the in-house design expertise at CVW is excellent. We are delighted with the results.
